Gust has announced the official title for its newest PlayStation 2 RPG, which until now was only known under its tentative title Atelier 5 - The Alchemist of Gramnat 2. Following the series' tradition of naming a game after its main protagonist the newest installment has received the title Viorate no Atelier - The Alchemist of Gramnat 2, as its main character is the 15-year old Viorate Platane. Together with her brother Bartholomaus, she lives in the countryside village of Karotte. Other characters include the wanna-be fencer Rodefried Santar, 16-year old Brigitt Sihern, Klara Barbier, Eisel Weimar, Roland Ofen and Mivis Pfalz.
Viorate no Atelier - The Alchemist of Gramnat 2 will be available sometime in June 2003 for 6,800 yen (56.79USD). The limited edition will carry a price tag of 9,800 yen (81.84USD).
