Final Fantasy X-2, the first true sequel in Square's venerable series, released yesterday in Japan. While North American gamers will have to wait until sometime this fall to have a go at the game in English, today we have a wealth of new pictures for the game, listed below in handy categories:
- 86 new game screen shots, from battle shots, to menu, to something special at the end.
- 22 new pieces of artwork, featuring new character Lenne and new job classes.
- 5 new wallpapers, again featuring Lenne, as well as Nooj, Gippal and Baralai.
- 3 product pictures, showcasing FFX-2's heroines in the form of cell phone straps.
So what's next, you ask? Well, we may post up some impressions soon, and you can count on more media on occasion of the import. If nothing else, we'll be sure to have a lot of new media and information come E3, which is in just over 2 months time. Two months should be long enough to get through those 232 new pictures.
(Okay, so it's 116. But if you count the thumbnails too, it makes it sound even more impressive.)
