Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne Tops Japanese Sales Charts Atlus' PlayStation 2 RPG Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne entered the Japanese sales charts at spot one, selling 152,676 copies in the four days since its February 20th release. Square's Game Boy Advance title Final Fantasy Tactics Advance remained at spot 2 by selling 64,540 copies in its second week and a total of 290,533 copies. Nintendo's GBA double punch Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby dropped to 11 and 12, as the two titles sold 17,758 (for a total of 2,011,978) and 15,617 (for a total of 1,966,832 copies) this week respectively. Namco's PS2 RPG Venus and Braves - Majo to Megami to Horobi no Yogen came in at spot 14 in its second week on the charts, by selling 13,160 copies for a total of 61,366 copies. Nippon Ichi's Makaisenki Disgaia (to be released in the US under the title Disgaea: Hour of Darkness) slipped to spot 18, selling 9,155 copies this week and a total of 95,036 copies. With the Megahits edition of Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, two Square titles can be found at spots 27 and 28. The earlier sold 4,921 copies for a total of 41,632 copies, while the "international version" of Kingdom Hearts sold 4,753 copies to brings its total to 347,076 copies. Nintendo's Zelda: Kaze Takuto (The Wind Waker in the US) dropped by one spot to 32, selling 4,463 copies this week and 610,849 since its December 13th 2002 release. |
