Princess Holiday Details Announced Alchemist has revealed first bits of information on its newest project, the Dreamcast version of the fantastic princess adventure game Princess Holiday. The game was originally released for the PC platform by Augusta last year. The protagonist is a troubadour, who has already visited a lot of different countries. After three years of absence he returns to his hometown to find out that the princess has slipped out of the royal castle and is now unexpectedly seeking shelter at his house. Of course the princess lacks any knowledge of the world outside the royal court and hence the protagonist has to teach her how to adapt to the world of commoners. Contrary to the original PC version, the Dreamcast version will allow players to try and win over prime minister Diana, a fan favorite in the PC version. Furthermore, Alchemist has increased the number of endings to 12, two for each of the six heroines' sequences. Last but not least the game will feature a vocal ending theme, original CG sequences, full voice-overs and a re-done introduction movie. The Dreamcast version of Princess Holiday is set for a spring 2003 release in Japan. |
