Activision Releases Information On X-Men Legends Back on September 27, 2000, Activision announced the development of X-Men Legends, an action RPG based on the Marvel universe of characters. For over 2 years, little was heard of this game, but Activision recently released new information on this multi-console RPG. The title is being developed by Raven Software, makers of Hexen and Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force. The company is new to the RPG field, though experts with the first person shooter. X-Men Legends seems to mostly resemble Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance with a combo system for multiple characters on-screen. The X-Men may be switched on the fly, in case your current X-Men aren't quite up to the job.¾Writers of the comic books, such as Steven Seagle and Joe Kelly have been hired to write the coming-of-age story of Magma, or Alison Crestmere, a mutant who originally appeared in New Mutants. X-Men Legends is currently slated for a late 2003 release on the Xbox, PS2, and GCN. |
