eGenesis has announced that its PC MMORPG, A Tale in the Desert, will launch on February 15th. Apart from a Windows client, the company will also offer a Linux client. As a major supporter of open source software, the company also plans to utilize nine game servers running Red Hat 8. Starting tomorrow at noon ET, the company will offer free clients including either 24 hours of free playtime or a month of free service. Afterwards players will be charged a monthly fee of $13.95 USD.
