Additional information regarding the upcoming Final Fantasy XI add-on disc, Jirat no Genei, have surfaced. Apart from the already confirmed Ifrit and Ramuh, Titan will make his return as a summon. As summoner is an extra job, players are required to level up another job as well. With the add-on disc, two classic Final Fantasy monsters, Tonberries and Cactuars will make their way into the world of Vana'diel. A total of five different areas will be accessible in Jirat no Genei:
Nog: This hideout of pirates also hosts another familiar face: Gilgamesh.
Ulgap Temple: An ancient temple of an evil God. This unholy place is also the home of the game's Tonberries.
Ifrit's Kettle: A dark land surrounded by volcanoes. The volcanic gas in this area gave birth to a special creature named gas bomb.
Yutanga Forest: An idyllic place where nature still rules. Deep within there are ruins of an ancient city built by a cursed people.
Cave of Kolrock: An underwater cave which is the home of terrestrial coral colonies. In ancient times, it was used as a shelter by Galka escaping the pursuit of beast men.
Final Fantasy XI: Jirat no Genei will be released on April 17th. The price of the PlayStation 2 version has been fixed at 3,980 yen (33.59USD), whereas the PC version's price will be open.
