The Sakura Taisen Song Show's New Year program began yesterday in Tokyo's Aoyama district. This year's program, titled "Hatsu Warai Shichifukujin" will run through January 7th in Tokyo. Performances in Osaka are scheduled for January 11th and 12th. The plays, which are directed by Sakura Taisen mastermind Ouji Hiroi, feature an all-star cast composed of the (voice) actors behind the series' popular protagonists.
