PlayOnline Breaks Even In an interview Square President and CEO Youichi Wada announced that the number of suscriptions for the company's online RPG Final Fantasy XI has finally reached 200,000. This means Square's internet service platform PlayOnline has reached the break-even point. Mr Wada also said Square now aims to generate profit from the service in its second year online, since being launched on May 16th 2002 along with the PlayStation 2 version of Final Fantasy XI. |
