Bioware Corp. has recently announced that an expansion for its wildly successful RPG Neverwinter Nights is currently in development. Interestingly, the expansion, entitled "Shadows of Undrentide", is being co-developed with Floodgate Entertainment. Floodgate is composed of many former Looking Glass Studios employes. This is especially exciting, seeing as Looking Glass was involved with many now-classic PC games, notably System Shock 2 and the Thief series. The expansion will contain a new single-player campaign, which is said to clock in at around 40 hours of gameplay. It will also include new monsters, feats, spells, classes, and skills, as well as additional content for the already impressive Aurora Toolset that was packaged with the original game. RPGers can expect to see the game sometime in the spring of 2003.
