Namco has released its consolidated balance sheet for the first half of the current fiscal year. Sales were up by 6.3% compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year totaling 73.4 billion yen (601.15 million USD). In the meantime, the operating profit has increased by 63.8% reaching 3.2 billion yen (26.21 million USD). For the current term, Namco projects consolidated sales of 158.8 billion yen (1.3 billion USD), an operating profit of 8.1 billion yen (66.34 million USD) and a net profit of 4.4 billion yen (36.04 million USD). The company estimates that it will sell 600,000 copies of its upcoming PlayStation 2 RPG, Tales of Destiny 2.
