Not many gamers ever got the chance to play the original Final Fantasy. Even less had a chance to enjoy Final Fantasy II, which was never released domestically. These NES classics that gave birth to a dynasty had largely been overlooked in favor of their more mainstream offspring. Following their recent trend of ressurecting and rejuvinating their old titles, Square Soft has raised these 8-bit wonders from their dusty tombs and given them a 16-bit sparkle. Not to be outdone, they've even given them a touch of their CG magic to make these old adventures new again. Both of them are due for release in Japan tomorrow and Justin brings us a nifty preview of them today. Square EA LLC has yet to comment on a domestic release for both of these games, but we can always hope, ne?
