PS2 Gets Taiwanese 3rd Party Support Wind Thunder Era, a Taiwan-based game developer has become Sony Computer Entertainment's first 3rd party developer in the Chinese-speaking market, which encompasses Taiwan, mainland China and Singapore. According to a company spokesman, Wind Thunder Era expects a development time of 15 to 18 months and costs of 3 to 4 million USD for the production of a PlayStation 2 game. The company currently plans to release three games for Sony's console: The PS2 version of the popular PC game Heroine Anthemn as well as Oriental Fantasy PS2 and Oriental Fantasy Online PS2. The three games are currently set for a release date sometime in 2004. |
