According to sources, a recent issue of the Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream reports that the upcoming GBA Seiken Densetsu will be a remake of the very first game in the series, the GameBoy Seiken Densetsu, better known in the US as Final Fantasy Adventure and released in Europe under the name Mystic Quest (though it is not connected with the SNES Mystic Quest). Although the bets were on a remake of Seiken Densetsu 2 (Secret of Mana), it seems that Square will be releasing 1 first, which doesn't mean a release of SD2 can't happen later though.
In other Square/GBA related news, Nintendo Dream also supposedly reports that the GBA Final Fantasy Tactics will be an "entirely new game", as opposed to the remake of the PlayStation FFT that was commonly expected. It can be assumed that the game may be some sort of side story.
