In a webmaster posting on the official English site, Ragnarok Online's beta 2 for the US is currently scheduled for a July release. The translation is reported to be progressing steadily, but players are asked to be patient. Beta 2 will remain free, just as beta 1 and the alpha were.
In other Ragnarok news, both the Chaos and Loki servers were unexpectedly shut down on the 22nd; no reason for this was ever given. The servers will also experience downtime from June 30th until July 5th, due to IDC Center transfer and server maintenance.
