E3: Sega

You know the drill...just a succession of topics.

Skies of Arcadia

Currently there's no word if the Skies of Arcadia port will feature any enhancements over the Dreamcast version. Also there was no comment on why the PlayStation 2 port has been pushed back, just that it was a decision from Sega.

Sakura Taisen

Despite Sega's Japanese office commenting at GameJam that the Sakura Taisen series will see a US and European release in the near future, the representative we spoke to had no information on that release...and in fact didn't even know the game existed.

Phantasy Star Online

Episode I and II contains both the original Phantasy Star Online and Version 2 in Episode I; Episode II will be a sequel to the story. The US release is tentatively set for an October 15th release. The Xbox version will be a variation on Episode I and II; GameCube and Xbox players will not be able to play together on the same servers, however. No announcement yet on a version of PSO for PlayStation 2 or a US release of PSO for PC.

Shining Soul

No announcement yet for a US release.

Other news

- A possible Phantasy Star 5 hedges on Yuji Naka's interest in doing a sequel to the actual series.
