New World Computing's latest Might and Magic installment finally takes the series into the 3D world. Players will now be able to lead a party of four characters and three NPCs into a world of deep, dark, dungeons and lush, fully-3D, realistic environments.
The game begins with you and your party shipwrecked on the Isle of Ashes. What was supposed to be a simple supply run from your homeland of Chedian to Mendossus was ruined by a menacing thunderstorm. However, the very
catastrophe that left you shipwrecked also saved you from imminent death-the merciless Beldonian Horde is in position to attack Chedian with full force. With you as your people's last hope, your new quest is to join together with
the six clans of Chedian and prepare to defend your homeland.
Might and Magic IX is currently available on the PC for roughly $39.95USD, depending on the retailer.
