Enix has changed the Japanese release date of its upcoming PlayStation port of Dragon Quest Monster 1 and 2 from March 31st to spring 2002.
Due to the delays of other high profile titles such as Star Ocean 3, Enix slashed its earning projections for the current and final quarter of the fiscal year 2001/2002 by 63%.
Enix's last major release, Dragon Quest VII, has sold 4.06 million copies since its August 2000 release, and has been the best-selling PlayStation title in Japan.
