Xenosaga Tops Japanese Sales Charts Namco's highly anticipated RPG, Xenosaga Episode 1: Der Wille zur Macht, has claimed the top spot of the latest Dengeki sales charts. Within three days after its February 28th release, the game has sold 240,044 copies. Other games covered by RPGFan in the TOP20 include NEC Interchannel's PlayStation 2 port of Kanon, which sold 23,928 copies, Koei's Haruka 2: Romance of Eternity with 23,181 sold copies (each claiming the fourth and fifth spots on the list), and last but not least Enix's PS2 port of Grandia II at number 11, which sold 9,804 copies last week (a total of 36,834 copies have been shipped since the game's release). |
