Dengeki Online has released the Top 200 list of best-selling games in Japan for 2001. Square's PlayStation 2 RPG Final Fantasy X easily claimed the top spot by selling more than 2.4 million copies. But of course there were many more RPGs among the 200 best selling games. The list below includes only titles covered by RPGFan.
Note that certain games have two sales numbers behind them. The first figure is the game's sales in 2001, the figure in brackets indicates that games' total sales. Games with an asterisk are games released before 2001. Enjoy!
