The Xenosaga series, developed by Namco subsidary Monolith Soft, will span across six episodes, with The Will to Power being the first and Square's PlayStation RPG Xenogears being the fifth. So far, only Square has managed to release one installment of an RPG series, namely Final Fantasy, each year.

Xenosaga Episode 1 is scheduled for a February 28th release in Japan with a US release being expected for late 2002.
