Nippon Ichi Software has released new media of their upcoming PlayStation 2 simulation RPG called La Pucelle. Taking place in a mystical world dominated by the light, the player will play as Prier, the game's 16 year old female protagonist. She and her friends have to save the Holy Kingdom of Paprika from an evil prince. There will be up to 12 playable characters in the game and the battle system will allow for a combination of powerful attacks from party members to unleash at the enemy.
La Pucelle is currently slated for a January 31st release in Japan. Two versions of the game will be available. The standard version will retail for 6,800yen (51.94 USD), while the limited edition will cost 7,800 yen (59.57USD). The latter will contain a soundtrack CD and art book.
