Yes, it's been five long months since I began here, and my dream has finally been realized. Along with a new look to the section, we're now taking multiple reviews for each soundtrack. That's right, now you can finally write that review to your favorite soundtrack that you hadn't been able to before. So start sending in those reviews! And right in time for the holidays, RPGFan is now affiliated with both Animenation and Game Music Online. What does this mean to you? No more endless searching for that soundtrack you've been dying to get your hands on. The perfect Christmas present is only a click away. Links to soundtracks that are available from either retailer can now be found directly on the review page. Still not enough for you? After a draught of reviews this month, we've got 7 new ones ready for you to get cozy with. It's quite an eclectic mix this time around. Starting us off is one of our newest editors, Professor Gast, with his thoughts on the very different, but completely cool, Another Mind OST, which is composed by Junya Nakano of Final Fantasy X fame. Still in the mood for more Square funness? Sensei Phoenix and SrBehemoth both give us the skinny on the company's newest compilation album, Square Vocal Collection. What's that? Been wondering what our good friend Ramza has been up to lately? Don't worry, the old chap still had a few reviews up his sleeve including the strangely macabre Baroque OST and slightly obscure Black Matrix OST. Can't take much more? It's just two more to go. Ongakusei lets us in on the soundtrack from one of the Playstation's lesser known RPG's, Elder Gate. And finally, coinciding with the game's big sequel release, I was able to get my hands on the rare Tamamayu Monogatari OST, that's Jade Cocoon in the U.S. You won't want to miss this review. Okay...out of breath...need rest....but before I sign out, I wanted to thank everyone who helped out with the redesign. I couldn't have done it without ya. You guys rule! Until next time, Happy Holidays!! |
