Despite being only released on the 22nd, Enix's remake of the Super Famicom classic, Dragon Quest IV for PlayStation managed to easily outsell the competition in Japan. In the week from the 19th to the 25th, Enix's last PS game sold 638,039 copies, almost double the figure of Nintendo's highly anticipated GameCube fighter Super Smash Brothers Melee.
Atlus' BUSIN - Wizardry Alternative came in on spot 7 of the list, selling a total of 61,475 copies since its release two weeks ago.
Dragon Quest IV is currently scheduled for a 2002 release in the US, with Wizardry Alternative (known as Tale of the Forsaken Land in the US) to be released as early December 17th.
