Microsoft announced that Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty is available at stores throughout the US.
Dark Majesty is an expansion to the popular PC online RPG Asheron's Call. The expansion carries a price tag of $20.00 and includes a free month of play as a bonus.
Electronics Boutique has received double the preorders of Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty as they did for the original game.
The expansion will consist of the full version of the original game and, in addition, offer new features, such as the optional purchases of housing and storage. The game's visuals have been improved by implementing new models and textures. In terms of gameplay, Dark Majesty will allow players to explore a new area, called Island of Marae Lassel. It will be accessible to players of all levels and contain new quests, dungeons, and treasures to explore and discover.
Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty is exclusively playable on Zone.com and will receive regular content updates. According to Microsoft these updates will ensure that it is impossible to complete the game, since constantly new dungeons and quests will be added.
