[TGS] Konami Announces New PlayStation RPG Konami announced a new action RPG for the PlayStation at this year's Fall TGS. Rave: Groove Adventure will be based on the Japanese manga "Rave" and feature 2D, overhead graphics, and 3 player multi-play. The title looks similar to Sega's Magic Knight Rayearth, but should play more like Square's Seiken Densetsu series. At the beginning of the game you can choose between two game exclusive characters, Angela and Eason. As you progress through the game, you meet the Rave characters; Elie, Musica, and Puru. Rave will also employ a new in-battle system, titled RPD. In this system, you can give real time commands to your party members, and they'll drop their previous strategy for the new one of your choosing. No release date yet for Konami's Rave: Groove Adventure. Look to RPGFan to bring you more on this title in the near future, including game screenshots. |
