Working Designs has announced the finalized packaging details for the upcoming PlayStation strategy RPG package, Arc the Lad Collection. Following the established Working Designs tradition, the game will be filled to the brim with extra goodies.
In addition to the six game discs--comprised of Arc the Lad I-III, Arc the Lad Monster Arena, and a "Making of Arc the Lad Collection" video--the following items will somehow be crammed in the oversized box:
-140+ page bound manual (very similar to those found in the Lunar remakes)
-22 character mini-standees
-Embossed memory card holder
-4 analog thumb button covers; three with main characters, one with the logo
-For preorders only, a metal clip-on watch will be offered as well
To compliment the already large package, two hardbound strategy guides--the first covering Arc the Lad I and II, the second covering only Arc the Lad III. Both will include memory card and character stickers as well as an Arc the Lad Collection poster. Volume One reads at 450 pages, and will retail for $24.95 while Volume Two reads at 250 pages, and will retail for $19.95.
A precise launch date has yet to be set, with the game slated for a 4th Quarter 2001 release and an estimated retail price of $74.99.
