In the latest bit of information since Namco's official unveiling of Xenosaga Episode 1: Der Wille Zur Macht for the PS2, two new characters have been announced, and a few new minor details. The first of two new characters is named Jr., a Galactic Federation pilot who likes to collect antique weapons and artifacts - and is a prodigy. The other character is Momo, the redhead seen in the presentation at Namco's unveiling.. Momo is a prototype android with advanced perceptive abilities, which come useful in detecting activity within Gnosis.
Xenosaga, which is already 70% complete, will have about six hours of fully-voiced cutscenes. The game also includes a story written by Monolith Soft's Satoru Takahashi. The Japanese release remains as December, and still no word of a North American release yet.
