Retro Reviews Greetings review fans. This update is a time of great happiness for yours truly, and yet, at the same instance, one of great sadness. On the one hand, I have two reviews, both of which I wrote, and which put me in the top 5, beating out ex-ed Musashi. The bad news is that my very spirit has been crushed by one of the worst games I've ever played. Yes, I'm talking about Sega's Phantasy Star Adventure for Game Gear. Oh, my reviewniks, this... thing... brings shame to the entire PS series. If you want to know how bad it is, exactly, go check out my review here, but only if your heart can take it. Fortunately, I spent the last few days playing and reviewing a truly great oldie: Quintet/Enix's Terranigma for SNES. One of the best games I've played in recent memory, easily beating out quite a few 32-bit titles, Terranigma is golden. To see how golden, check out my review here and bask in the warm glow of Terranigma's warming glow. That's all for this update. Let us have a moment of silence and reflect on what we've learned... okay, moment up. |
