Breath of Fire (GBA) Info and Media Capcom’s first RPG for the Super Nintendo is being re-released for the Game Boy Advance! But what can Game Boy Advance players expect from this Breath of Fire remake? First of all, completely re-done visuals. Though not in the same league as some of the more dazzling GBA RPGs, the Capcom-quality animation should give the title distinction. The remake will enhance the original’s visuals with new faces in battle and extra cut-scenes. Beyond the visuals, Capcom is adding more mini-games to the adventure. Ryu was always been a fisherman, but now Capcom has expanded the fishing mini-game, to look much like the ones in Breath of Fire III and IV. The save system has been fixed for more portable-friendly play. Gamers can save anywhere, in case they need to set their systems down quickly. Players will also be able to link up with other Dragon Clan adventurers and trade items with a friend. Unfortunately, though, there is no actual Link Play. And now that you’re chock full of Breath of Fire goodness, we’ve decided to spoil you even farther. Check out RPGFan’s 20 new screen shots and 8 pieces of artwork from BoF GBA. |
