Loads of Dragon Warrior News!This fall, monsters will once again invade the Game Boy Color. Enix America announced on March 22, that Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 - Cobi's Journey and Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 - Tara's Adventure, will be released in North America. Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is the story of a brother and sister, Cobi and Tara, who move with their family to the island of GreatLog. But things go wrong on the island when the mischievous Prince Kameha and his monster sidekick, Warubou, show up. Thanks to this troublesome duo, GreatLog begins to sink into the ocean and it's up to Cobi and Tara to find and train an army of monsters and save the island.Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 will be packed with over 300 monsters from 11 monster families, including new monsters from Dragon Warrior VII. Players will need to call upon all their monster taming, breeding and training skills if they are to succeed. Both games will incorporate unique story elements, different monster encounter rates, and randomly generated worlds, thus providing players with a different and challenging game-play experience every time. An interesting feature of Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is the ability to connect both worlds, using the Link Cable. In addition, players are also able to trade and give away monsters, have all-out monster matches against a friend's monsters, team up with a friend to fight AI monster teams, as well as trade magic keys to open secret and previously unavailable worlds and scenarios. With Yuji Horii (game designer), Koichi Sugiyama (music composer), and Akira Toriyama (designer of the characters and monsters), Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 will be quite an addition to the classic Dragon Warrior series. Both Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 - Cobi's Journey and Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 - Tara's Adventure are scheduled for release this fall.
