"Sega, the Publisher" Poll

Dreamcast may be going down, but Sega's not out. With future plans of being a third-party developer/publisher on a number of consoles, Sega could be in a strategic position to be quite successful. Still, it's odd to hear news of Dreamcast's upcoming demise after its dominance in America over the holidays and its recent release of Phantasy Star Online. Either way, it brings up an interesting poll question for this week:

"Which console would you like to see Sega publish RPGs for?"

To vote, go to the main page.

Last week, we asked our readers which aspect of a battle engine grates on them over time. The winning annoyance was the encounter rate. To see what else annoyed RPG fans, check out the final results in the poll archives.

Tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the weekly poll's birth. Sure it's just a poll, taking up 30 seconds or less from the lives of a select few each week, but I hope it's been enjoyable for those few as much as it has been for me.

On that note, expect to see another brand new, hard-hitting poll next week! And remember...keep any of your disassembled consoles unplugged from the wall outlet. Either that or don't touch the circuit boards! Just another helpful tip from Stahn "the stupid" Mahn.
