Christmas Editor Review Update

Oh wonderous eve of presents! Tis I, your merriest of merry review gurus, here to bring Christmas joy. Though it seemed as if your flaming featherduster wouldn't have an update for his devoted followers on Christmas eve, the staff pulled together and got me a few reviews. So, now I'll pass the happiness on to all you readers out there. Let's get crackin'!

First up on the list of sugar plum visions is editor Dancin' Homer's review of a game we've NEEDED a review for, Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. While the N64 is a rather underrepresented console as far as RPGs are concerned, the Zelda series never ceases to delight, as show by Dancin' Homer's lauditory review of the game here.

Next up we have editor TSG's review of Square's cinematic RPG sequel, Parasite Eve II. In the spirit of Christmas, let's read the review itself and not just merely ogle the pics of Aya in the shower, hmmkay? Read it here.

I couldn't leave you all without some direct gift, now could I? That's why I wrote this review of Sega's super Dreamcast RPG, Skies of Arcadia. It's really good (the game AND the review) and I sincerely hope you check it out. The game can be found at your local retailer and the review can be found here.

Finally, our brand spankin' new editor, The Catalyst (his picture is a cat mixing chemicals, get it?) has a review of ASCII's Master of Monsters: Disciples of Gaia. Wow, if Skies of Arcadia was the really good, Masters of Monsters has to be the really bad. Catalyst gave it the lowest scores in the history of the 'Fan. I suggest you have something to hold on to before you go at this one. When you're ready, take a look here. Counterpoint anyone?

Well, that wraps it up for this very special edition of Sensei Phoenix's review corner. I hope you'll enjoy this update on Christmas Day, after you open the presents. Happy gaming all!
