Saturday News UdpateAtlus' latest RPG Eithéa has received a release date. The game will hit Japanese retailers on February 22nd and will come in two editions: the first press edition (7,800 yen) will have some rare Eithéa trading cards, and a poster illustrated by the game's artist Aoi Nanase; and the deluxe pack (12,800 yen) of which only 20,000 copies will be produced, will contain an art book, a telephone card, a pendant and a clock.Sony's new model of the PlayStation 2 (SCPH-18000), released a week ago, seems to be having trouble with properly playing certain PS2 games, one of them being Reiselied: Ephemeral Phantasia. If you plan to get the new Japanese PlayStation 2, you may not be able to play these few games until Sony has found a solution to the problem. As announced earlier, Sakura Taisen Kinematron Hanagumi Mail, a DC mail software featuring Sakura Taisen characters will be released on December 28th for 2,800 yen. Here are pictures of the software: Konami has announced the title of the second Gensou SuikoGaiden game (anime adventure spinoff to Suikoden). SuikoGaiden Vol. 2: The Duel of Crystal Valley should be released in Spring, and is a sequel to the first volume Swordsman of Harmonia. A piece of artwork can be seen here. Sony is having a "3 RPG" campaign, planning to release three PlayStation 2 RPGs in early 2001. Popolo Crois Monogatari III will be released in Spring, Tsugunai will be released on February 22nd, and Boku to Maou (Me and the Demon King) on March 15th.
