FFX in March And Other News

According to Mr Suzuki, director of Squaresoft, Final Fantasy X will indeed be released in March 2001 as announced back at the Square Millennium conference. Rumors of a possible delay have been denied by Mr Suzuki as he explained Square has not encountered trouble or major obstacles in the game's development. However, the game will probably be released near the end of the month. Final Fantasy X will be the first installment of the series to reach the PlayStation 2. An US release date is not known yet.

Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth, previously scheduled for late October, has now been delayed to a vague "Late 2000" date. Developed by MaxFive, a newly-founded company, the game was originally supposed to be released in early 2000.

On December 7th, Falcom will release a remake of their game Eiyuu Densetsu IV: Akai Shizuku (The Legend of Heroes IV: A Red Drop). The game will be a PC port of their 1996 PC-Engine game, and will come with a nifty package containing a 400-page game scenario manuscript, a 100-page all color artbook, and three 45-minute orchestral CDs. You can see 3 screen shots for the game here.
