Sunday NewsPopular psychic entertainer and author Uri Geller, who is known primarily for using his psychic powers to bend spoons, has filed a lawsuit against Nintendo in a federal court in Los Angeles. Geller claims that Nintendo turned him into a Pokémon character named Yun Geller (Kadabra in the US). The character carries a spoon and uses his psychic abilities to give people headaches. Geller, who is a former Israeli paratrooper, said that he was also offended by a lightning bolt on the Pokémon character's chest, as the lightning bolt was one of the symbols used by the Nazi SS during World War II."Nintendo turned me into an evil, occult Pokémon character," Geller said in a statement. "Nintendo stole my identity by using my name and my signature image of a bent spoon. I'm filing this lawsuit against Nintendo, not only to protect my name, but also to tell the world before the start of the holiday season that I have nothing whatsoever to do with these violent characters, who have a negative impact on children." And Finally, Namco has opened a new online store called Namco Consumer e-Shop on their Japanese website to allow visitors to reserve and purchase their future game products online. The first game available in the e-Shop is Namco's upcoming PlayStation RPG Tales of Eternia, and Tales of Eternia Premium Box. The Premium Box version will come with a book type memory card holder, and two Tales of Eternia bookmarks. Other products available in the e-Shop include Tales of Eternia trading cards. Tales of Eternia will be released in a triple CD set in Japan on November 30, for 6800 yen.
