Thursday's News BitsEnix of America has denied the news concerning possible censorship of Dragon Quest VII. The company claims to plan to stay true to the original in any possible North American version, and mentions that they "uncensored", for the Game Boy versions, a number of things that had been taken out of the NES Dragon Warrior I and II. Enix has not officially confirmed yet whether they are releasing Dragon Quest VII in America.Final Fantasy IX has been confirmed for stateside release for November 14th, as was previously announced in our release dates section. 19 days to go! Pokémon Gold and Silver have just been released and have already broken sales records. The two games have sold a total of 1.4 million cartridges in their first week, thus breaking the record of handheld game sales, previously held by Pokémon: Special Pikachu Edition with 600,000 copies sold in a week. Nintendo expects the two games to sell 10 million copies in the next six months. The limited edition of Phantasy Star Online has been cancelled. It was supposed to contain a PSO 4X VMS, and a playable version of Sonic Adventure 2. Phantasy Star Online will nonetheless come out on December 21st in Japan. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is now available in shops, earlier than originally expected. You can get it for a suggested price of $59.99. More pics of the Sakura Taisen Dreamcast have surfaced. The system will be released as a pack containing a controller, a VMS, the Kinematron mail soft, a Sakura Taisen version of the Dream Passport 3, and a Sakura Taisen 3 movie disc, all for 25,800 yen. In addition, a Memory Card 4X will also be released on December 14th.
