Grandia: Parallel TrippersNew details about the GBC Grandia spinoff to be published this December by Hudson have been unveiled. In addition to new screen shots and artwork, the plot details were clarified a bit.Three school pupils, Yuuhi, Mizuki and Shirou, are somehow transported to another dimension after a strange incident. The three land in the world of Grandia, where Liete informs them that they will have to find a 'key' to go back to their dimension. The lost children will seek the help of Sue, Feena and Justin, and go on a journey to find a way home. In addition to Grandia's characters (at least Justin, Sue, Feena, Liete and Guido are bound to appear) and the three new characters Yuuhi, Shirou and Mizuki, the game will feature a new pet mascot known as Pinky. The battle system will retain the series' IP (Initiative Point) gauge, determining the order/timing of attacks. Spells and skills will be represented by cards, as in a card battle game. The world field will supposedly have many hidden items in it. Also, the game will feature Link cable use, though no details are known about the way it will be used.
