PC and Genesis Reader Reviews

Greetings review nifties! It's your old pal SP here with another edition of the Retro Reviews. Dilligently trying to clean out my to do folder, I bring you these little gems of gaming past, all from reader Dancin' Homer. I'm not quite sure, but he may just be the reader with the most submissions accepted and posted. I should probably do a count, eh? Anyway, on with the reviews!

First up we have a couple of Genesis reviews, Sega's Beyond Oasis and Atlus' (yes, THAT Atlus) Crusader of Centy. Nice to look back in time at some golden oldies, eh? Check out Beyond Oasis here and Crusader of Centy here.

Moving to the PC front (a much neglected front, might I add) we've got reviews for Legend Entertainment's Death Gate and Accolade's Star Control 3. Truly a blast from the past (now where's Monkey Island, hmm?) Check out Death Gate here and Star Control 3 here.

Before I leave to places unknown, I'd just like to recommend a website that I think is a great idea. It's called Home of the Underdogs and it's a repository of old PC games that are either not sold anymore or are hard to find. They also have links to the companies that sell the games in case they are still available from the manufacturer. Plus, they have reviews and pics and FAQs and such which I found tremendously helpful. You can find them at www.theunderdogs.org

Well that's it for this edition, fans! Next time I'll either have a Valkyrie Profile editor review or some more recent reader reviews. Check ya later!
