Love Hina Tribute
Today we've got a special update about Love Hina, a dating sim series adapted from the popular anime (and manga) by the same name. The license seems to be flourishing, since no less than 3 games adapted from Love Hina will be released in a 2 month span! We have some pictures of these games, along with some basic information. Released in August by Marvelous Entertainment Inc., Love Hina Pocket appeared on the Game Boy Color. You can check out 7 screen shots, 2 products, the packaging, and 10 GIFs for the game. The second Love Hina game is for the Playstation and will be available on September 21st. Entitled Love Hina: Ai wa Kotoba no naka ni (Love Hina: Love is in the Words), the game is developed by Konami and features the concept of a "words collection adventure" where the player has to gather "words" (or phrases; there are over 500 in the game). 5 screen shots and 2 pieces of artwork from the game can be found in the pics section. Lastly, a Dreamcast Love Hina game is going to be released on September 28th. Love Hina: Totsuzen no Engage Happening (Love Hina: A sudden "engage happening") will come with a B3-sized limited edition box containing an impressing number of goods: a clock, a Tama plush toy, a towel, an illustrated wooden talisman for school success (these are pretty common in Japan) in addition to the game itself. The limited edition will cost 8,800 while the regular edition will retail for 5,800 yen. You can check out pics of the limited edition box and its contents here along with 17 screen shots from the game. Also, Love Hina fans will be pleased to hear that another PS installment from Konami is planned, Love Hina 2: Kotoba wa konayuki you ni (Love Hina 2: Words are like Powder Snow), a sequel to Love is in the Words. Love Hina 2 will hit Japanese retailers as soon as November 30th!
