Star Wars RPG on the way!After a series of action and shooting games, the Star Wars universe is finally breaking into the world of RPGs courtesy of Lucasarts and Bioware.The Star Wars RPG will take place several thousand years before the storyline that began in the Phantom Menace, chronicling the long running battle between the Jedi and Sith. Bioware has yet to decide whether this title will be rendered in 2D or 3D. Whichever method they decide on for the graphics aside, the game is said to be a traditional RPG. Given Bioware's track record includes notable CRPGs such as Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and the upcoming Baldur's Gate II, Star Wars RPG should be a sight to be behold when it hits PCs and next generation consoles alike in 2002. And to wrap this up, what update is complete without a delay announcement? This time the culprit is none other than Black and White, pushed back from its September 23 release date to November 10, 2000. Perhaps it's for the best with the flood of games coming this fall.
