Each will have their own personality and some will not agree to fight with you and even be your enemy. Atomos, who was in Final Fantasy V, will appear in this installment as a mid boss who's stomach is connected to another dimension. If you get swallowed by him, you'll be sent to this alternate dimension. Sounds trippy. How do you summon these sacred beasts, you ask? Well, at the start of the game, you can't. All summoners disappeared 500 years ago. Garnet and Eiko Carol seem to be able to sense the beasts' presence, so it stands to reason you'll be able to use Sacred Beasts at some point in the game.Wondering how the new Final Fantasy rates? Weekly Famitsu has given the game a score of 38 out of 40 and commented that "the game brings together the best elements of the series." The preorder of Final Fantasy IX in Japan has reached 1,103,876 units. The opening CG for Final Fantasy IX has also been released here. Ring Age, Takuyo's Dreamcast network action RPG, will release in Japan on September 21st for 6800 yen. The game will support four players simultaneously. While it sports a name change here in the U.S., the game remains the same. Yes, sue me, I'm a Led Zepplin fan. Eternal Arcadia will release in Japan on September 14th for 5800 yen. A limited edition will release the same day for 9800 yen; it hasn't been announced yet what will be in this edition. A Dragon Quest VII Original Sound Track collection will be released by Sony Music Entertainment in Japan on September 6th. The Dreamcast re-release of Sakura Taisen 2 has finally gotten a date of September 21st, being pushed back from its initial Summer date. The regular edition will retail for 5800 yen, while the limited will come in at about 7800 yen. Nintendo has released a soundtrack to Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask in Japan. The two cd set features 112 pieces of music composed by Koji Kondo and Toru Minegishi. The CD even comes with a booklet showing how to play some of the songs on Link's ocarina in the game.
