The title means "the coming of the Gods", but it should be spelled "Kamurai". They spelled it "Khamrai" just for effect. In a great sea of clouds, six countries float and are known as "The country of Earth", "The country of Fire", "The country of Light", "The country of Sky", "The country of Life", and "The country of Darkness". In these countries, humans are threatened by beasts and other dangers. However, six "Imperial Princes" from the "family of Gods" are there to protect the humans. The humans worship the gods, while the gods protect the humans. This is the story of a disruption of the balance between the Immortals and an apparent order. The character designer is Haruhiko Mikimoto, known for the designs of anime such as "Macross", "Gunbuster", etc...
