More information on Dragon Quest VII has been recently released about the party managing sections. Unlike Dragon Quest VI, there is no wagon for hauling your merry band around, so switching up your party can't be done outside of a town. Also included in the actual battles is an option to exchange words with the rest of the group for tips or events.

On our shores a monster RPG has just been shipped for the Playstation by the 3DO company, Crusaders of Might and Magic. This is the series' first appearance on the Playstation console. Only time will tell whether this very popular series can be sucessful in the Playstation market. Look for Crusaders of Might and Magic to trickle into stores later this week.

Capcom, a company that is usually known for the Breath of Fire series(among several fighters and survival horror games), has announced that its bimonthly RPG title is indeed a reality. Years ago it was a widespread rumor that such a long running RPG series would appear on a console with the scripts written by Flagship.

Even though that turned out to be merely a rumor, Capcom has finally announced this series to be a reality and on the way to the Dreamcast. Unlike most RPGs this title will literally have a new installment every two months. How is that for a long winded story?
