Square opens new Vagrant Story site

Square has done the inevitable. No, not making another Final Fantasy title(that is in the works it seems), but opening up a new exclusive website for their upcoming 'short' RPG, Vagrant Story. The site features new screenshots of the game, as well as some general information. The best thing about it though is that most of the text is in both japanese and english, making it friendly for those who never bothered to download japanese language support for their browser, or can't read japanese at all.

Anyone who has been keeping up with the Alundra series is well aware of the radical changes the sequel has in the graphics engine, but should be more then happy to hear that the same puzzle and action oriented gameplay that filled the first Alundra still takes the spotlight today. Well in case you were one of those gamers who felt that Alundra was a pain in the ass to finish(me), you will be elated to hear that Activision is adding two new difficulty levels to their translation of Alundra 2. One of them makes the journey easier for those who wish to keep our sanity intact. And the other is a harder setting designed to offer an even more immense challenge. Additionally, Activision is including a brand new opening that will be exclusive to the U.S. version. This opening is supposedly to add to the set up of the game's storyline. So far Activision is doing all the right things to make our version of Alundra 2 a special experience. Hopefully everything will come together nicely once the game hits store shelves this Spring.
