Tales of Eternia Darkens

It has been recently shown in a preview in Famitsuu that Tales of Eternia will feature a semi-realtime changing of the days. This means that the overworld will get dark as the day progresses and many special events can only be triggered by the time of the day that it is in. For example, there will be times when a crucial event can only happen at nighttime, and vice versa. This is very similar to Breath of Fire II and Ogre Battle. Other things, such as the types of enemies you face, will also be affected by this.

Tales of Eternia is currently slated for release in April of 2000 and while there is no plans to port this game out to the US when it is released, it looks to be a promising import for both "Tales" fans and any RPGFan worldwide!
