Square Millennium News

Awhile back Square announced an event that would be a showpiece for much of their upcoming software. This event was known as Square Millennium. However as luck would have it, it was postponed to early 2000.

Now that we loom ever closer to the date of the event's arrival, Square reveals more on what we should expect to see there.

First off Square intends on showing several titles for the Wonderswan. One of these could be the previously announced first Final Fantasy game converted to work on the portable. Either way Square intends to show its progress on developing games for the unit. Chances are you can expect some interesting titles to be announced.

There will also be five Playstation games making an appearance, as well as three titles for the Playstation 2. All signs point to the possibility of Final Fantasy IX making its first debut during the show.

The Square Millennium event will take place in January 29, 2000.
