New Legend of Dragoon CharactersSony's new RPG, The Legend of Dragoon has been an intriguing title amidst the sea of recent role players to hit the Playstation in the last few months.Four new characters have been revealed. These include a young man named Noril. Noril uses a sword of flame to defeat his enemies, but seems more interested in getting a date than anything else. Harsou is the token martial artist. He has knowledge of an obscure fighting technique. Then there is Prince Alberto, a person with fighting ability that can hardly be rivaled. And finally Mailo, a good hearted girl who can seemingly handle the severity of the toughest situations. Legend of Dragoon's dragons are an important part of the gameplay. Each of the dragons can gain up to 7 levels, and they are all based on elemental types. The element of a dragon can be determined their eyes. When two of these dragons meet, the weaker one usually follows the commands of the superior dragon. Legend of Dragoon also allows a player to counter attack at any time, rather than it being a random occurence by the game. But for it to happen you have to time when to press the proper button. Like Squall's gunblade in Final Fantasy VIII, tapping the action button during an attack will produce more damage. Legend of Dragoon is slated for a December 2 release in Japan. Importers start your engines. Or something like that.
