Nine Reviews and a Preview

Oh boy, it's late and I've been workin all evening. Tote that gif, lift that HTML... anyway, enough of my insane ramblings. Let's get started.

First on the agenda we have the Final Fantasy 8 reviews on parade. Leading the march is Luis Vega with his review here. In the brass section, we have editor Esque's review here. And, last but not least, the percussion section of Dark Paladin with his review here. Seems Rinoa and Squall's love affair is under quite a bit of scrutiny, eh?

Ah well, next we have another Playstation RPG review, written by reader Seta Soujirou, for the import version of Namco's PSX remake of Tales of Phantasia which you can read here. Careful, though, it's a long one.

We also have a few reviews of older games up tonight. First of all, Dark Seraph brings us his review of the Genesis classic, Phantasy Star 4 which you can read here.

Next is editor Jaime's review of the Sega CD port of the classic Turbo GraphX-16 game, Dungeon Explorer which you can find here. And we have Crono's (not to be confused with Chrono) review of Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals which you can check out here. I would also like to mention that, because there was confusion with Crono and Chrono, I mislabeled the review of the Game Gear title, Defenders of Oasis a while back. It was written by Crono, not Chrono. If you want, you can check it out here. My appologies to both parties for the mix-up.

On the PC-side (no, that's not politically correct) we've got a couple interesting RPGs reviewed. The first is a review of a popular On-line RPG, Nexus: Kingdom of the Winds written by reader Ruby-chan, and located here. And, secondly, we have a review of the Thief engine-based space-survival-horror game, System Shock 2 here. Don't play this one in the dark, folks.

And last, but certainly not least, we have a preview of CareerSoft's Atlus-published action RPG, Growlanser written by editor Commodore Wheeler. Check it out here.

Well, that's it for tonight review fans. Remember, reviews are always welcome, and don't stay up past bedtime... I know I won't.
