In fact, they recently released screen shots and some rendered artwork from Eternal Ring, a "Realtime RPG."They also released a story synopsis which is as follows: The New King of Heingaria, Ian Martin has heard a rumor that 4 of the most powerful knights in the past have been banished to the Island of no Return. Wanting to meet these 4 people, the King sends in a lone soldier to the Dragon inhabited Island in order to find the truth of this rumor. That Soldier's name was Kain Morgan. Kain heads towards the Island under the command of his King. And there, a new world that he has never seen opened up to him..... Story translation by editor Woojin Lee. Aside from Eternal Ring, another PS2 RPG might be in the works by FromSoftware. According to videogames.com, the fourth installent in the King's Field series has been announced for the Playstation 2. While not many details have been released, it was supposedly displayed at the Tokyo Game Show. We will keep you posted with developments on both of these PS2 RPGs. |
